The battle drums roar as the dusk of nomination ended with 3 candidates representing the established, the avenger and the opportunity seeker.
The land of durian orchard is now fill with the flame of spirits and streams of flags, but who would the voters of Bukit Gantang elect?
As the dawn unveiled, the battle among Ismail Saffian, Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin and Kamarul Ramizu Idris begin. So what say you, the beloved residents of Bukit Gantang? Are you ready to be the decision maker?
Let's face it. As a voter in Bukit Gantang, what other choice do one have besides Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin? Who is Ismail Saffian to you and me? Whose reputation should we entrusted in? No doubt, the journey of the people does not begin here but the trust to the government may end here and thus bury the peace and harmony our forefathers fight so hard to maintain.
To the people of Bukit Gantang, this is not a war of representation, it never is, Malaysia is facing a crucial time in the global crisis. Maybe Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin is a good Menteri Besar but in national level, his role as an opposition cannot be a beam to lay on in support of our beloved nation during this point of time. This is not a time of showing approve or disapprove of Perak state government, this is a time to choose a leader in the august hall of parliament. A hall of national representatives to govern a country in crisis.
The dawn of a new era requires the construction of a new dream and yes, we need another point of view but not during the time of confident crisis where the breaK of our fragile trust towards the government shall lead us to nowhere but chaos and doom. Yes, and here we stand, between the devil and the deep blue sea, are we ready to jump?
This country cannot split and at a time when Malaysia is in dire straits, I urge the voters to support a nation of one and united.
The flags in Bukit Gantang are aplenty now, but many will fall as there will only be 1 victor amongst the 3. The people needs sustainable growth and progress, let us not stop now because of hate and dissatisfactions. Feelings we have, but Malaysia needs a larger mandate for its survival and let us not stop here, this country needs your support.
The consequences, the fate of the nation and survival of our future, the citizen of Bukit Gantang, make up your decision, are you ready?
